YOUTHLINE

The purpose of YouthLine programs is to provide information, support and resources to youth and their allies.

YouthLine Phoneline: YouthLine Phone Line is a confidential phone line that is open M-F (including holidays) from 4pm to 8 pm. Our 5-day-a-week telephone based service are fully staffed and operated by young people, called "YouthLine Listeners." YouthLine is a toll-free service, providing callers with confidential and anonymous peer-to-peer conversation, the ability to get detailed information about all youth programs and services in San Francisco and first-stage crisis intervention.

ylliveyltvYouthLine Live:
In partnership with BAVC Channels 76 & 29, we air a youth run Youthline show called "YouthLine Live", the 2cnd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6pm on Channel 29 and 76. Each episode is focused on a youth issue; such as, violence, tattoos, sex, relationships and more. Professionals and experienced youth on each topic are on the show as guests and youth and adult viewers call in to ask questions and learn more. Currently, the show has more than 10,000 San Francisco viewers. Youthline Live is merely one component of Youthline Media. All hosts of the show have their own blogs, websites and collection of pre-recorded individual shows ranging in topics from fashion to cooking to Violence. Check out Youthline Media's webpage here

YouthLine Online: You can now access the same database used by our YouthLine Listeners by visting YouthLine Online. Our website is full of information about youth programs and services like: youth sports programs, tutoring services, health clinics, museums or substance abuse programs. YouthLine Online has evolved into a youth designed online resource where young people can get information on topics that range from substance use to relationship issues, interact with other youth, and find jobs and events in San Francisco.
